Cleaning Tips for Outdoor Spaces

Summer is the perfect time to tidy outdoor spaces.  You can spruce up common outdoor areas and get them back in working order for tenants to enjoy over the summer and fall.

• Scrub metal and wrought iron furniture
• Apply a fresh coat of paint or stain to prevent rust
• Dust and clean light fixtures to brighten up patios and outdoor spaces.
• Pressure wash concrete and walls
• Mow the lawn, plant new flowers, and cut any dead branches or trees.
• Clean windows and double-check to make sure they have a tight seal. If you see that the windows are foggy, it could be an indicator that you have broken seals.
• Call pest control to make sure that your tenants can enjoy the outdoor spaces without worrying about ants, spiders, mosquitoes, etc.
