What to do after flooding

• Remove excess water my mopping and blotting

• Remove colored rugs from wet carpet
• Remove picture frames and other art objects to a dry room
• Gather items off the floor

What NOT to do after flooding

• Do not turn ceiling lights or fans if the ceiling is wet
• Do not enter rooms if the ceilings are sagging
• Do not use your personal vacuum to extract water
• Do not leave books and other reading materials on wet floors
