Are you ready for severe weather?

After a severe storm passes through Decatur, the damage to your home could range from non-existent to extensive. Before venturing outside to inspect the damage, make sure it is safe to do so.
Wait at least 30 minutes after the storm has passed to go outside. Watch for downed power lines, trees, broken glass or any other sharp objects. If you smell gas, shut off the main gas line immediately, open doors and windows and step outside. Only go to the roof if you believe it is necessary; if not, call a professional company to do it for you.
Call a trusted restoration company like SERVPRO of Decatur to help you with any board up or tarps needed. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
