Storm Causes Roof to Blow Off

When a dangerous storm hit Decatur, this resident had his hands full with the amount of damages it caused to his home. The devastating winds caused a large portion of his roof to blow completely off. This storm damage caused the ceiling to fall and spread insulation all throughout this bedroom.  Not only was there a gaping hole in his bedroom, but rain was also pouring in causing further water damage throughout the house. When our SERVPRO team of Decatur got on site they started by removing carpet, pad, baseboards, drywall, insulation, and debris from the storm. We also went ahead and placed nearly a dozen dehumidifiers in the home to help dry and stabilize the environment. Our crew worked very hard to help this homeowner repair the damages and make him comfortable to sleep in his bed again!
