Basement Mold Remediation

When a busted pipe caused water damage throughout this home the homeowners did their best to deal with the problem and clean up all the water that spread through their house. After a couple weeks they began to notice a “bad smell” in their basement. When this couple further investigated the drywall in his basement, he found mold growth that needed attention right away. When SERVPRO of Decatur arrived we began testing and determining how many areas were actually infected with mold growth. Several structures were damaged so our crew went to work removing baseboards and getting down to the problem. After putting in many hours at this home our crew was finally able to remove all the contaminants to make the home safe for this couple to live in again.
